The Invoices screen has tabs for Invoices, Quotations, Who owes, Credit notes, Items and GST.
Before your first invoice
In Settings › Invoices, fill in your registered name, GSTIN if you have one, address, UPI ID and bank details, and the payment terms line. These print on every invoice. Your logo, signature and letterhead go in the Brand kit card on the same tab.
Make and send an invoice
- Press the button to make a new invoice, or use Create invoice on a booking.
- Add the lines. Items you sell often can be saved under Items.
- A draft has no number yet. When you issue it, it takes the next number, so your numbers never have gaps.
- Send it to the customer. They get a link with a UPI pay button.
Payments and corrections
- Record a payment when money arrives. An invoice can be paid in parts.
- To correct an issued invoice, issue a credit note against it instead of editing it.
- Who owes shows every customer with money outstanding.
GST files
On the GST tab, pick the month and press Download all. You get one zip with each GSTR-1 section as a file, ready for your accountant or the GST portal’s Returns Offline Tool. Keep the HSN files named exactly as they come (for example hsn(b2b).csv): the offline tool refuses them under any other name.
