Mail to your addresses (such as info@yourbusiness.com) arrives in the dashboard’s Email screen, and you answer from the same address. A copy can also go to a Gmail address you choose.
Shared and personal mailboxes
The owner decides this in Settings, card Who reads each mailbox:
- Shared mailboxes (info@, support@) are read by owners and by the people ticked for them in the Team card.
- A personal mailbox (for example amar@) belongs to one person. Only they can read it and send from it, owners included.
Inspections
If an owner needs to look at someone’s personal mailbox, they can start an inspection from Settings › Email › Inspections. It has to have a reason and an end time, it is read-only, the person is told, and every email opened is recorded where both the owner and the person can see it. The owner can end it early.
What Pixelvile can see
Pixelvile sets up your domain and mailboxes but cannot read your email. If you want us to look at something, an owner can let us in for a set time from the same Inspections card, and you’ll see everything we open.
Storage
Email storage includes 1 GB. The Email storage card shows how much is used, and more can be added if you need it.
